Is termite repair work always necessary?
Unless there is wood damage that needs to be replaced such as with fascia boards, siding, a deck or wall studs, termite repair work is generally not necessary. Are building permits required for termite repair?
Depending on the type and scope of repairs needed, a building permit may or may not be required. Although there are a number of repair operations frequently contracted by structural pest control operators that do not present problems or have the size and substance to warrant a permit and inspection, it is always understood that all repairs are to be completed in compliance with all applicable local and California Building Codes even if a building permit is not mandatory.
